Hello

Just starting blogging.  I think the place to start is the Democratic convention.  I think it is appropriate that it started on the 9th of Av, Tish B'Av.   This night when both the first and second Temples were destroyed is the day of remembrance for all Jewish tragedies. 

Certainly this convention is representing a tragedy for the Jewish world.  From what I am reading, the most popular speaker is Al Sharpton.  Imagine the man who led America's only pogrom in 1994, killing Yankel Rosenbaum is now one of the most honored spokesmen of the Democratic party.

Anti Semitism is now an accepted part of American politics.
